Archive for November, 2009We have had another very busy week, and didn’t manage to fit in our usual sit down to talk about what we have done!Well done 1L, we have all our marbles in our jar for being such a good class. We have been thinking about a class reward. The children had to write down what sort of party they wanted and a list of things that they wanted at the party. It looks like a disco, with ice-cream, maybe the most popular choice. We all dressed up for Children in Need as the person we want to be when we grow up. We drew a picture, wrote a sentence; then we either coloured it or painted it. Can you work out what everyone wanted to be?.Here is a picture of some of the children thinking about how to describe smells, using adjectives. Here are the main things we have been doing this week.Alfie remembered, after a bit of “teeth pulling” that we had been thinking about describing words for smells. Megan and Blosssom remembered that we investigated spinning toys; we were finding out what worked best.
